      The pretty little village of Montazeau is situated in the heart of the Dordogne countryside and is nestled amongst vineyards and apple orchards.


      To the South is the bustling market town of Ste Foy la Grande, renowned for it's year round Saturday Market. A thirty minute drive east is the larger town of Bergerac, famous for it's many fine wines and tobacco museum. An hour west is the city of Bordeaux, a major shopping centre for the region. En route to Bordeaux is the town of St Emilion, known worldwide for it's many Chateaux and Grand Cru wines.


      Both Bergerac and Bordeaux are served by international airports with flights to Southampton, Stansted, Gatwick, East Midlands, Luton, Liverpool, Exeter and Bristol. The ports of St Malo, Le Havre and Caen are a seven hour drive away. The port of Calais is a ten hour drive.
